| Nose: | Peach fruit, toasted brioche and some light smokey notes. A background of chalky minerality lifts the fruit and frames the nose. | ||||||
| Palate: | Layers of stone fruit and toast are balanced with a mid-palate of preserved lemon and soft minerality. A gentile acidity lengthens the palate and accentuates the elegant and fine structural finish. | ||||||
| Maturation: | 8 months in French Oak |

| Style: | A mildly oaked, medium bodied, Chardonnay. Lightly toasted oak adds complexity and structure while still working in harmony with the lifted stone fruit and minerality. This wine will pair well with 'firmer', full flavoured, fish dishes as well as lightly seasoned pork and poultry cuts. a mildly flavoured, soft cheese would work well, or why not have is as an appealing aperitif with flavour and character. | ||||||
