A track record in excellence
Founded in 1983 by Jim Irvine, Irvine Wines quickly earned international recognition for elevating Australian Merlot to world-class status. In 2014 the Miles and Wade families took over, expanding the range while still keeping Merlot at the heart of the brand. We remain one of Australia's most awarded Merlot producers, with our Grand Merlot being named the World’s Best Merlot three times.
Irvine Wines are one of the largest privately-owned premium grape growers in the Barossa with almost 400 acres of premium Barossa vineyards. Five generations of Miles’ family expertise ensures the fruit we grow is of the highest quality and harvested with precise timing.
Irvine’s six vineyards span over 400 acres of the most esteemed Barossa and Eden Valley regions. These prime regions are home to some of the world’s oldest and finest Shiraz and Riesling plantations.
