Plum, black cherry, cocoa powder and light coffee notes. A gentle acid line focuses the palate and ties together the layers of dark fruit and light savory notes. The tannin structure is fine and gentle, making this wine immediately accessible. |

A full-bodied red wine that shows both freshness and length. Fruit driven, but not overly sweet, this wine would pair nicely with a roasted lamb shoulder, a rump steak or mushroom risotto. A crumbly, aged cheddar would also work well. This wine is drinking well now but could age nicely for four to six years. |
