A full-bodied Barossa Shiraz from a small parcel of old vines nestled in the foothills of the Barossa Ranges. Planted in 1881, these vines are among the oldest in the Barossa, producing fruit of exceptional depth and character. A finely structured wine with the balance and concentration to develop beautifully over 5–10 years of cellaring. Its richness and structure make it an ideal match for premium hard cheeses such as aged Cheddar, Gouda or Comté, while hearty dishes like Beef Wellington, Filet Mignon or Wagyu complement its depth and texture. For a more savoury pairing, try it alongside mushroom broth or a creamy pasta. |
