Soft and generous with fruits of the forest, sour cherries, clove and cardamon spice. A delicate tannin structure and juicy acidity further lifts the palate, giving the wine balance and length. The finish is elegant and savoury, indictive of its cool climate origins. |

A lightly oaked, spicy and lifted Shiraz that is fresh and fruity on the palate. This wine is aged in hogshead barrels (300L) for 18 months with a small percentage of new French oak adding texture and complexity. As a food pairing, meats like BBQ brisket or grilled lamb chops work well. The spiciness of the wine accentuates the flavours of the dish. A mushroom risotto or moussaka would be good vegetarian options. This wine drinks beautifully now but will age elegantly for five to ten years. |
