| Palate: | Black cherries, dried cranberries and green plums from a fresh and fruity base. Cinnamon, mace and cardamom develop on the mid palate and a juicy of morello cherry tartness adds line and length to the wine. A lightly drying 'coffee grind' finish balances the whole package | ||||||
| Maturation: | 24 months in French oak, 30% new. | ||||||
| Style: | A full-flavoured red wine that is still fresh, fruity and youthful. This wine will stand up well to a range of strongly flavoured barbeque meats such as steak, lamb and Italian sausages. Alternatively, try it with grilled portobello mushrooms, a strong cheddar or your favourite blue | ||||||
