|Barossa Valley, South Australia
|Deep ruby with a light violet hue.
|Fruits of the forest nougat and spice - cinnamon, nutmeg and powdered ginger.
|Blood plum and blackberry fruit is carried and lengthened by gentle mocha and bramble undertones. The length and persistence of the flavour on the palate is testament to the pedigree of this North Barossa beauty.
|A full-bodied red wine that shows both freshness and length. The rich flavours of this wine pair nicely with chargrilled meats and vegetables, smoked ribs or savoury beef-based stew. A strong but mellow cheddar would also work well. This wine is drinking well now but could cellar well for a further 3 to 6 years.
