Varietal: Shiraz
Region: Barossa, South Australia
Colour: Ruby red with a purple hue.
Nose: Blackberry nougat, cherry and mild chocolate with a twist of ginger and ground nutmeg.
Palate: Dark cherry and vanilla bean with structural layers of coffee, cardamom and mace. A fresh line of acidity and a 'chewy' tannin structure highlights the length and persistence this wine has to offer.
Maturation: 12 months in French Oak
Style: A fresh, fruit driven, dry red wine that can be enjoyed now of easily aged for a number of years. This wine will match well with a range of grilled meats or other hearty meals, like bean, lentil or mushroom based dishes.
Cellaring Potential: A drink now style that will easily cellar for several years.
