Our newly restored Irvine shearing shed and stables in Eden Valley are now available for hire.
Built during the settlement of Eden Valley, these buildings are over 150 years old. During this era, our vineyards operated as mixed farms, and the shearing shed was a working building where farmers sheared thousands of sheep in-between tending to vines!
This shed was left in disrepair for many decades until the Miles family stepped in and lovingly restored it to its former glory last year. Next to the old horse stables, our shearing shed still has all its original and rustic features along with some contemporary embellishments.
These heritage buildings are now the home of Irvine Wines and are perched on our 400-acre property in Eden Valley. We have strong roots in this region as our foundations were laid here with the first shiraz plantings by the Miles family in 1867. Today, our estate vineyards are cared for by fourth generation vigneron, Peter Miles.
These distinctive spaces are available to hire for private functions. Our stables building is an intimate space, tastefully renovated and with modern facilities perfect for small conferences and events. If you’re looking for a bigger space to host a larger group, than you can’t go past our shearing shed. With magnificent views overlooking our rolling vineyards, it is perfect for corporate tastings, parties, and weddings.
